Description
The Herschel Halo Horizon is the latest addition to our zero light heritage range, alongside our revolutionary chandelier Halo heater, and is designed specially for heating churches and heritage buildings. Utilising our innovative far infrared heating elements, in three powerful sizes, Horizon has been beautifully crafted with British steel and aerospace-grade aluminium to discreetly fit the heritage aesthetic and can be both wall-mounted (horizontally and vertically) or ceiling suspended. To ensure the Herschel Heritage range incorporates the very best components and finishings, the grill has been nickel-plated to deliver longevity and protection against corrosion.
Providing a discreet solution for side aisles, chancels and lower-ceilinged spaces such as choir galleries, Horizon provides fast warm-up times and is ideal for supplementing Halo in larger churches or to warm larger heritage buildings where the Halo is not an option. Horizon emits the gentle warmth of radiant technology to gently and safely warm people whilst protecting historic interiors.
With bespoke, decorative finishes and a choice of colours available, Horizon delivers an effective and cost-efficient electric heating solution that can be powered by renewables to reduce carbon emissions and help deliver the routemap to net zero. Our Heritage team offer a full specification service including 3D scans and visual representations, where appropriate, using the latest technology.
Halo Horizon is available in 2.6kW and 3.2kW and should be used in conjunction with the Herschel APX Controller. Herschel provides a range of bespoke APX control options including simple on/off operation to more sophisticated controls, thermostat and remote App control plus motion detection to ensure efficient operation according to your requirements.
The recommended height for installation of the 2.6kW Horizon is 2.3 – 2.7m, with a heated area of 11 – 15m2 respectively. The recommended height for installation of the 3.2kW Horizon is 2.8 – 3.2m, with a heated area of 16 – 21m2. These areas are a guideline only and will be impacted by airflow and ambient temperatures. Dependent upon the property age/type, insulation levels and levels of airflow present, the number of heaters required and running times will vary.
Please note this is a Special Order item that is made to order. Please contact Herschel to discuss your Horizon specification and APX controls prior to ordering.
